The Baji Association is an oasis of traditional Chinese martial and wellness promoting arts in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city in Helsinki. We have been a visible part of the cultural landscape of the city of Helsinki since the year 2000. You may have walked past our training sessions in Töölönlahti park where our association has practice sessions especially in the summertime.

Lü Baochun

Head teacher of the Baji Association

Master Lü Baochun has lived and taught Chinese martial arts in Helsinki since the year 2001. His history of practice goes back a lot further- all the way to the turbulent 1960s in China, when he started learning martial arts under his father’s tutelage. Master Lü’s life’s work among the different martial arts has made him a gentle, professional and very responsible teacher.

As a teacher Lü Baochun is easily approachable and he takes into account the personal skills of each of his students. His experience of Chinese martial arts of over 40 years guarantees his students and inexhaustible source of knowledge. You’re welcome to learn with us.
