The information on these pages is based mainly on the teaching of master Lü Baochun (born 1956) and in some parts on the works mentioned in the references. To achieve real skill, one must "walk the correct path".  However, different teachers use different methods to walk this path and emphasise different things on the various stages of development. The methods described on these pages therefore do not constitute the only way to learn but may help the reader in finding one. The Baji Association assumes no liability whatsoever for any problems caused by the usage of these methods and reminds the reader that one should only start practising these arts under the guidance of a competent teacher.
